拿玫瑰的女子

故事
By 1884 Caillebotte had quietly stepped away from the group he had done so much to keep going. He showed with the Impressionists for the last time in 1882, and after that spent most of the year across the Seine at Petit Gennevilliers, where he sailed, designed boats and gardened. The paintings of those years are domestic and unhurried, and this is one of them. The woman in black is generally identified as his companion, who went by the name Charlotte Berthier and lived with him there. He died ten years after this was painted, at 45, leaving her an annuity. The picture hangs now in Tainan, in southern Taiwan, where the Chimei Museum lists it as the Lady Wearing a Rose.
