故事
In the summer of 1902 Pissarro came to the Channel port of Dieppe and took a room overlooking the harbour, by the fish market on the Arcades de la Poissonnerie. He was 72, and it was his second painting campaign in the town. He had written to his son that he was feeling his age, that he was too old to go far in search of what he wanted, so he let the working port come to him: fishing boats, masts, quayside sheds, and the shifting Normandy weather. He painted around 20 harbour views that season. It was one of his last efforts of the kind. He died the following autumn, in 1903, back in Paris.
