Pere Serra

The story
Pere Serra was a Catalan painter who worked in the Gothic-Italian style and was active between 1357 and 1406. He is known for altarpieces produced in Catalonia, and is considered one of the leading exponents of the Italo-Gothic tradition in the Crown of Aragon. His brother Jaume Serra was also a notable painter, and together they ran an important workshop.
